Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter looked far and wide for the right person to succeed retiring Executive Director Steve Schotta, but in the end, its Board of Directors found its choice just around the corner from Schotta’s office – in Director of Marketing Greg Russell.

Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter is teaching its employees some innovative techniques to deliver trauma-informed care to the abused and neglected children in its care, thanks to a recent $51,000 grant from the Walmart Foundation.

Anticipation builds as Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter and Presenting Sponsor General Mills today proudly announced that Superstar Reba will headline the 2015 Starlight Gala on Saturday, March 7, at the John Q. Hammons Convention Center in Rogers. Proceeds will benefit the private, non-profit organization’s efforts on behalf of abused and neglected kids.
