Donations of goods are a critical part of the way the community helps us provide for the needs of the abused and neglected children in our care. Most of the time, the kids come to us with nothing, and we must provide food, clothing and personal items they will need for up to 45 days. And when they leave, they take it with them. Since we take care of about 500 children per year, you can see how keeping the kids supplied is a daunting task. In addition, we need supplies for the daily needs of our great staff, along with the operational and maintenance reqirements of our facilities. In short, we need a lot of stuff to make the place run smoothly and provide for the kids’ basic needs.
