A warm feeling for kids in crisis

COATS for KIDS — Bailey Pile (left) and Mikayla Conarroe, both students at the Benton County School of the Arts, deliver 49 coats collected in recent weeks at the school to benefit abused and neglected kids at Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter. Girl’s unselfish gift results in new name for activity program

Sophia Scott has apparently learned one of life’s most important lessons quite well – that blessing others can be the best present a person can receive. At the tender age of 8, she has displayed generosity, compassion and wisdom far beyond her years. And now, this act of caring has resulted in a Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter program being named in her honor.
